From Catalonia to the world with EYE Catalunya and DIPLOCAT
Design, art and social issues were the key features of Eye Catalunya programme screened last Tuesday 19 May
The third programme of EYE Catalunya with the collaboration of the Public Diplomacy Council of Catalonia was broadcasted on Tuesday 19 May. EYE Catalunya is a technological platform internationally promoting the most creative innovators living in Catalonia.
Each guest has six minutes to present their project, six minutes to answer an interviewer’s questions and six minutes to answer questions from members of the public or people following the broadcast over the internet.
José Luís Merino
José Luís Merino, designer and illustrator with many international awards recognizing his work, was the first guest.
Merino talked about his career and work and about the importance of finding your strengths and align with them.
The second guest was the social education worker, Marta Olaria, from the Arrels Foundation – a Barcelona-based NGO working to improve the situation of homeless people.
Finally, the third guest was the artist Josep Minguell from Tàrrega. Josep has received international recognition for his fresco murals.
Josep talked about fresco murals, his technique and his work painting fresco murals all over Catalonia.
