Beabloo receives the fifth Diplocat Award for Catalan business diplomacy
President Puigdemont presented the award last night during the meal organized by PIMEC
The small and medium-sized business association, PIMEC, presented the Pimec Awards last night to eleven Catalan firms and institutions following a record participation of 101 candidates. The Diplocat Award for Catalan business diplomacy was given to Beabloo, a firm in the field of new technologies based in Barcelona with sixty employees.
This award aims to encourage and recognize firms doing business internationally which identify themselves or their products and services as being Catalan. The award is a recognition of those firms which help to promote Catalonia in the rest of the world, offering an image of excellence and disseminating the values, assets and attractions of the country. Through this, these firms contribute to furthering the international reputation of Catalonia. The winners of the four previous awards are: Aranow, Scytl, Moritz and Ultramagic.
Beabloo is a firm devoted to developing O2O (online-to-offline) technologies offering omnichannel digital marketing solutions and big data analysis. Beabloo’s technology allows them to learn about customer behaviour, personalize purchasing experiences, crate high impact interactions and optimize the use of space to obtain the maximum profit from marketing investments. Beabloo has offices in China and over forty more countries, with a turnover of more than €6 million.
During the award ceremony, the Catalan President, Carles Puigdemont, addressed the one thousand business people present and explained that “to be a leading country at the level of our most advanced European partners, we need a state which works for its small and medium businesses without reservations, conditions or arbitrariness; a state loyal to its most productive regions, like Catalonia, providing the necessary instruments for its economic activity, such as those corresponding to infrastructures or energy.”
PIMEC is one of the 39 organizations and bodies forming part of the Diplocat Board.
